Please note: This is a group package, there will be a minimum of 8 and up to 11 people per vehicle.
Example: You have 4 people in your group, atleast 4 additional people will be added to your group to fill the vehicle.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Drivers:
Clients wishing to drive on Fraser Island must be 21 years or older and hold a
current and full drivers license. International drivers license are preferred.
Bond:
A $750.00 security bond is required per vehicle. A copy of a nominated credit
card for this amount is kept until the vehicle is returned. On inspection of
the vehicle assuming there is no damage, this copy is returned.
Insurance:
A $20.00 per person insurance payment is payable on check in at Beaches Hervey Bay.
This payment reduces the insurance excess on the vehicle from $5000 to $1000.
Fuels & Fees:
$15 per person is collected on check-in at Beaches Hervey Bay to cover the costs of petrol;
gas and National Park Vehicle access permits.
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
Beaches Base Camp is a dedicated campsite, centrally located on the eastern beach of Fraser Island.
Base Camp is exclusive to Beaches backpackers and provides facilities to ensure your Fraser Island Safari is an adventure to remember.
It offers:- HOT showers
- Toilet facilities
- Large sheltered area
- BBQ's and picnic tables
- Shady camping ground
- On-site café
Base camp means you only have to set up camp once during your 3 DAY/2 NIGHT Safari and because Base Camp is where all of the Beaches self drive Safaris meet, it is also a great place to meet traveller's and share your adventures!
